Standard Entry Fee - $239
Early Bird Entry Fee - $209  (March 1st to March 16th)
Young Adult Ages 18-29 - $139

Payments. We accept all major credit cards, Zelle, Venmo and personal checks. Processing fees are now included in the registration fee. 

Late Entries and Cancellations

We have a flexible and fair cancellation policy for full refunds (less credit card fees). On or after April 24th no refunds can be issued and no exceptions can be made. Late entries will be on a space available basis. 

Tournament Format

Two-day individual stroke play in championship, handicap and senior flights and optional gross and net skins game.

What's Included?

Player Entry Fee includes two days golf and cart fees, practice range, bag storage and a reduced cost practice round. Also includes player tee gifts and awards. Cocktail party follows golf on Sunday and Awards Lunch follows golf on Monday.

Schedule of Events

Sunday, May 4th, 1:00pm Shotgun. Cocktail party with light appetizers following golf. Food and drink also available for purchase. Our auction items will be on display prior to final bidding.

Monday, May 5th, 8:30am Shotgun. Please join us for the Awards lunch banquet included with cash bar. Celebrate our winners and crown the Broward Amateur Champions!

Mobile Auction

Broward County Women's Amateur Championship is a 501C3 Not-For-Profit organization supporting female, youth and veterans golf programs in our community. Our primary source of fundraising is our Mobile Auction featuring play foursomes from popular local golf clubs, golf equipment and other donated items from local businesses and individuals. No fundraising is performed on course during golf championship tournament play. Championship Flight

Handicap index of 8.9 and less. Yardage 5.700. Champion, Net Champion and Senior Champion for players 60 years of age and over, The lowest two-day total gross score, regardless of age, will be declared our Broward County Women’s Amateur Champion for 2025. Caddies are not allowed.

Handicap Flights

Handicaps of 9.0 and higher. Yardage 5,100 to 5,200. Flight Champion, Net Flight Champion and Senior Champion 60 and over will be awarded. Low gross and low net awards in all flights. In flights 1 through 8, a score of 10 is the maximum allowed on any hole.

Handicap Requirements

BCWA supports all skill levels of competitors.  Therefore, we do not have a minimum or maximum handicap cap. We conform to USGA handicap limits. This is a high-level competitive event, and all players are expected to have a reasonable knowledge of the Rules of Golf, stroke play etiquette. Players must be able to play on pace.

Posting Scores Requirement / US GHIN Requirement

Players are required to have a US GHIN Handicap Registration and to post their scoring record in their US GHIN account.  We cannot make exceptions to this requirement.

We require a minimum of the equivalent of two 18-hole scores be posted in 2025.  Handicap cutoff date will be April 24th, 2025. Tournament scores will be posted as "Competition Scores" on the player's GHIN.  

Skins Game ~ Optional

Net Skins for both days is $30. Gross Skins for both days is $30. Enter both net and gross for both days $50. Includes donation to the Broward Amateur fundraiser of $5 each division.

Guest Policy

Guest spectators  will be allowed provided they understand and follow policy rules.  Guests must be able to walk, always staying on cart paths. Golf carts are in short supply and are needed for players and committee so no golf carts will be available for guests with no exceptions. Guests must not speak with or distract players in any way. Guests are invited to attend Cocktail Party and Awards Lunch. Cost is $45 each day. Please contact us to register your guest at browardwomensgolf@gmail.com
